Material Master Data influence on Handling Units Nesting.

Hello experts

"Plant data /stor. 1" view of any material master record, specifically general data section:

Temp. conditions

Storage conditions

Haz material numbers.

Do those "conditions" exert any influence at nesting of Handling Unit or are they used just for information purposes?

In other words, I wonder if to store a child HU into a master HU the implied items have to have the same combination of those conditions.

Hi,

I do not think that those fields would control anything in HUM (standard system), and I also tried and SAP didn't take care of those settings during packaging.

Maybe HUM experts can confirm this.
