Replica of old server patches into new server.

Hi Experts,

We hav 2 servers , one is fresh and in other we hav done some customization (SPRO Customization).

Now in order to save time we are trying to copy the same configuration and patches and everything is replica of used server in to different (fresh) server.

Now I want to know that whether i can have the same configuration in that fresh server including the transport requests of customization which was done in previous server after copying the same patches etc.

Is is possible or not , IF not then why and if yes , then how ??

Help is really required ....

This is not really relevant to PI!

but i would suggest installing the patches in the server so they are in line and then transporting the changes through. it is good practice. and the safest way.

how will you move additional changes through the system?

What if you add a new system to the landscape?

What about the data?

never try and cut corners. they will always come back to haunt you.
