Hi everyone ,
In SM37 when i checked for Terminated or cancel jobs everyday i have the following program cancelled.
Job Name :
EU_PUT JSPC Canceled
EU_REORG JSPC Canceled
When i click on the Job Log i have the following message.
Job started
Logon of user JSPC in client 800 failed when starting a step
Job cancelled
Is this something normal or i have to troubleshoot to resolve the problem. I really would appreciate a prompt reply from you guys. Thank you so much .
Hi folks,
Always create the Background job creating a common user like BGDUSER and set the user type SERVICE, so that the password never expires,
or
log on to server with your user ID ex(xxxx)
click on the job EU_PUT JSPC>and select the tab JOB>change> select the tab STEP>and click on the tab change the user name as BGDUSER
so if a job created by user ID xxxx and inside(STEP creation) we have assaigned BGDUSER the BG Job will never fails when a user is locked, password expired or deleted

Hi,
>Job Name :
>EU_PUT
>EU_REORG
These jobs are generated automatically when people navigate through SAP Objects.
They update the objects relationships for navigation.
If they are canceled because the user does not exist anymore, just delete them.
They will be recreated automatically byt he next user using navigation.

Logon of user JSPC in client 800 failed when starting a step
you may want to try logging manually as JSPC in client 800 to know the exact problem.
