Hi all,
When I am manually creating a production order in CO10, budget is being checked( PS module is also here. some budget is assigned to WBS). But when I am creating a planned order (using the WBS) in MD11 and then converting planned order to production order in CO40, budget is not being checked.
I want the system to check the budget.
Please help me in finding the possible reason.
Regards.
Hi ,
If u release the production order u made thru CO01 system will check the budget. Budget check is done for commited values if ur creating any production order thru CO10 or Purchase order thru me21n it becomes commited value for that WBS.

Hi,
Even after releasing the production order, budget check is not happening.I have checked budget profile etc, things all are ok.
Please tell me is whats the logic that manually if a production order is creted, budget check is happening. But when planned order is created and then it is converted to production order, then budget check is not happening.
Is there any setting in PP and/or PS module?
Please reply.

Hi ,
Confirm on following Pts.
1. AVAC is activated for the WBS for which ur assigning ur Production order.
2.In tolerence limits SPRO>Project system > costs > budget > define tolerence limit all activity types are selected.
3.Budget error will come if Order amt is more thean budgeted one otherwise it will not.
4.Open production order CO02 From header menu GOTO > Costs > itemization see in that report actual cost column has any amt or not ?

Hi,
Check Budget Profile is assigned to Project Definition. ( Control Data Tab of Project).
check if Availability control is active in Budget Profile ( OPS9).
