Files not Updating

I have an application which I made three changes to. I changed the logical port in the models - I centered the title - and I updated some images. I deployed the application and tested it in our sandbox. Everything looked great - I checked in the changes (which showed all modified files). I activated and released the activity.

After the release the logical port was updated (verified by XI server that application was requesting it not the original server). However none of the other changes were carried over? The title still appears left justified and the images are still the old images. Any ideas why and how to fix this?

Just used direct deploy as files were just not updating - in fact if I synced the files all changes were removed even after activating???

After doing the chnages you need to restart the server,

as per my knowledge iam telling this,

Sorry I should have been more specific - I actually am using NWDI to update this Web Dynpro project. When I deploy to the Sandbox everything looks great but when I release to our DEV environment only some of the changes take place.
