Unable to login to Infoview with LDAP authentication

Hi All,

We have configured LDAP plugin for Windows AD for our BOXIR2 SP2 environment which works fine for Designer, DESKI but we are unable to login to Infoview with the same

We recieve the following error:

" Account Information Not Recognized: LDAP Authentication could not log you on. Please make sure your logon information is correct. If your account is under any root other than DC=<dc>,DC=<dc> you must enter your dn"

The issue is with all the users and we checked the users has all the rights to login to Infoview

The LDAP server is Windowd 2000 AD Directory

We checked the Custom attributes for LDAP plugin and we are using below attribute values

Default Group search attribute: cn

Default User search attribute : sAMAccountName

User Name: sAMAccountName

Note: We are using anonymous account for LDAP server, we do not have any administrator account for the same.

I've never seen anonymous work properly with AD. Try any user account (entered in DN format) it does not need to be administrator. The word is being used in the context as to how the account works for us not it's required rights in LDAP/AD.

Also are you using SSL?

We are not using SSL, was just wondering if the ADAPT00745103 has to anything with our issue.

Hi,

We tried to provide credentials for the LDAP Adminsitrator in LDAP settings in CMC but it did not help.

we are stil getting the same error, could you please help us.
