Redefine button is disabled - SAP Community

I have a global class created in SE24. I want to redefine the one of the method in the global class.

However the redefine button is disabled.

Can someone explain to me why?

Hello

Is the class a sub-class and the method a protected method? Then you can redefine it.

Thanks for your reply. You are absolutely right. My class was not a sub class. Furthermore, I did not include the superclass into the defined sub class.

After all these done, the redefine button is enabled now.
