I have made some changes on a test environment to AR documents, these are present in RSA7 queue but when I try a delta extract the extract brings back 0 records. Is there a safety interval for these extractors and if so how long? I have run the same in a different environment and extracted Delta almost immediately, therefore if there is a safety interval is this something that I can change platform to platform? Thanks
Hi,
I guess the safety interval for FI extractors is 1 day as they are based on Cal day. You can check this in RSO2 for your datasource.

Please check the message in the Detail tab what it says. check the Idoc status in R/3 side first and then in BW. If this is an Idoc issue process this manually in BD20 Transaction code.
Hope this helps
Thanks

hi,
check if helps oss note 200576, 401646, 562726
(consider using new datasources 0fi_ap_4 and 0fi_ar_4)
...
1. Before you use the delta init mode to upload data into the BW system,
use transaction SM30 to add the following entry in the table TPS31:
Process Ctr Appl. Function module
-
00005011 BWFIP_WRITE_AEDAT_POIN
TER
This entry must be added in a sufficiently large time interval before the data is uploaded using the delta init mode into the BW system. This ensures that all the changed documents are selected in the first data upload in the delta mode.
An entry in the table BWOM_SETTINGS determines how long this interval has to be (use transaction SE16 to display this table):
The value PARAM_VALUE for the entry PARAM_NAME = 'BWFISAFETY' gives this required interval in days. The default value is 1 (day), if this entry is missing.
Example of table entry in BWOM_SETTINGS:
Client OLTPSOURCE PARAM_NAME PARAM_VALUE
-
100 BWFISAFETY
2
In this example, therefore, the entry must be made in table TPS31 two days before the data is uploaded using the delta init mode into the BW system.

Hi Niten,
Are you running the AP and AR datasources in coupled or uncoupled mode. If in coupled mode you would need to get data for GL before you get delta for the above AP and AR datasources. Refer to the below link and the oss note mentioned there for more help
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/2d/69b639084da940e10000000a11402f/frameset.htm
To customise the settings for safety interval for FI CO datasources, there is a presentation which gives all the details with regard to the underlying table/parameters and settings on marketplace. Refer to the below link to access the same

Hope it helps.
