Hi Bhaskar,

All the step by step process for Solution Manager Configuration is explained in detail

with SAP tutor at: https://service.sap.com/rkt-solman

First, you have to setup "System Landscape Setup" as follows:

Once you login rkt-solman, then select Solution Manager 7.0 -> Technology Consultants and System Administor -> System and Solution Maintenance (SMSY)

Next, You have to activate Service Desk which is pre-requiste for ChaRM, as follows:

Once you login rkt-solman, then select Solution Manager 7.0 -> Support Organizations / Service Providers->Service Desk

The IMG notes are pretty much are a step by step guide. Combined with the tidbits here and there in this forum you should be able to figure it out. Naturally it will be after some frustrating hours of banging your head against the wall, but where would the fun be without that?

Step by step guides for SolMan exist, but the people that create them cling to them rather tightly. How else would they make their money?
