Hi Gurus - Can anyone provide a solution for installment payment term with combination of fixed amount and % (txns OBB8 and OBB9).
For example : For amount 10000, 1st installment would be 4000 and balance due on specific date.
Thanks.
Hi,
As our Payment terms are % basis. You cannot give installment payments by using these payment terms.
But I can suggest you to go for Periodic billing.
It is a best option for you to go for installment payments.
Milestone billing can be done for a work which is under progress means if it is completed upto this part (achieves this milestone) then bill it.But in your case it is not like that.
Suppose you purchased a refrigirator. It is an installment basis then you are paying periodically. So go for periodic billing.
Check in SPRO under billing node, under billing plan node for this periodic billing.
Pls ask if you have any more doubts in this.
Regards,
Krishna.

Hi Soloman
This is not possible to have fixed amount in payment terms as in payment terms value should be always in percentage only.
If you want fixed amount to be paid at some date and rest at another, better go for mile stone billing plan.
In milestone billing plan can have both fixed amount on one date and rest on another.
try and revert.

OBB9/8 only works on the Percentage basis.... there is no way in SAP to validate against the amount value.... In the business there may be some set of terms based on the amount... u need to calculate the percentages and create them as installment PT......
but for ur Q... it is not possible...
