Hi all,
after many problems trying to deploy the webconsole.war file properly (setting the "path" environment variable to "C:\program files\sap\frontend\sapgui\sapwebconsole" on the J2EE engine proofed crucial in our case (and don't forget to restart the j2ee engine.
However, now that we have deployed the war/ear file we're trying to connect to the sapwebconsole (what is the difference between the sapwebconsole, the webconsole and the websapconsole???) without succes.
On the J2EE server we use url: http://localhost:50000/webconsole/run and we get a "Connection Broken" message
On the ISS server we use the url: http://localhost/websapconsole/isapi_sapcnsl.dll (websapconsole is the virtual directory) and we just see the "page cannot be displayed" error.
The guide makes it look really easy, so what have we missed?
Kind regards
Marcel Rabe

Hi Andrea
you sure that the port is 50000? In other words do you get the J2EE main page via the url: http://10.0.87.68:50000
Marcel
Ok, forgot to configure the SAPConsole Administrator on the backend server. This takes care of the the problem with the J2EE server.
Rgds
Marcel
