Hi Manish,

Have a look at note : 929144

This will tell you the reason and solution for this error.

This error has been resolved by SAP in SP17.

Hope this helps.

Hi Sulakshana,

I checked the note 929144, it says that to get the sda file from http://service.sap.com/swdc -> Download ->Support Packages and Patches -> Entry by Application Group -> SAP Netweaver > SAP Netweaver > SAP NETWEAVER 04 -> Entry by Component -> Application Server Java -> SAP J2EE ENGINE 6.40 -> #OS independent.

But it is not there. Could you please describe more?

Hi Manish

Try to install JRE 1.5.0.

I had the same problem.

Just curious, What version of JRE you are using? I mean JRE 1.4.2 or recent JRE 1.5.0 ? Once the Java Web Start is done downloading .jar files and launching application, Have you noticed any message saying something like "Certificate verification failed" or something like that?

1. Apply sapj2eeclient.sda (SAPJ2EECLI16P_1-10001982.SAR).

2. intiliaze webstart

http://<server>:<port>/rep

administration-> Tool Page -> On tab Repository select Java Web Start Administration and then Re-initialization. Select tab Directory and perform the same steps

You should be all set.
