cost elements to cost group

hi experts,

i need to add(insert) cost elements to the cost group .

kah2 is the trnasaction for it , but i need to add cost elements to cost grp through a load file .

(recording/lsmw is not working for it.)

how to add cost elements to the cost grp through a load file.....

Atcually I was using Tcode OKE6 to transport Activity Types.

OKE6 helps you to Transport all controlling Masters and allows for Uploading the xcel also.

I dont know your file format also.

I think you need to take the help of ABAPER to do the same.

U can also try BDCor LSMW.

Please Try T.Code OKE6 to create a Transport which includes the cost elements.

Give the task number later on when you try and upload it thru excel.

Let me kw if it works.

iam not a sap-finance resource. all i know is i can add cost elements to the cost grp via kah2 transaction .

could u please explain in more detailed way that wld be great, i have the list of cost elements and cost grp with me..

please tell me the steps for it...

one more q ,u r saying abt upload is it lsmw file upload....?

Create LSMW using BAPI method with BUS1113 object (Cost element group).
