Print out of unreleased Contract ? How .

Dear All ,

I have to take print out of a contract which is not released yet . But i want to have it's print out by ME9K , But here the released contracts are displaying but the unrel. contr. is not displyaing , can u explain that is it necessary that Contract should be in rel. state for print out .

As per my knowleage,In the std SAP,you can take the printout of only the released contract.If you want to take printout before release the contract, you have to take help of ABAP ppl.

i had made this contract by copying from other contract . while in ME9K the old contract is appearing but this new contract is not appearing .

also in dev. for trial my contract is not rel but even then i can preview & print my contract , pl clariify why ?

thanx anjali , I have simulated the scenario in dev server . I m able to take print out after release of contract only .
