Dso actvation failed in process cahin

hi,

dso actvation failed in process cahin,the data loaded correctly in to dso, but the activatio is failingwith error" Activatioon of m records from datasurceobject is terminated" and "Background process BCTL_4hn* terminated due to missing confirmation"

please guide me

did you check if theres a dump or an error in DTP ...check the DTP log in order to see the error...

Hi,

Try to activate manually

Steps:

1. Go to DSO manage screen, in that screen click on the activation button.

2. Select the request for you need activation.

3. Click on the Start button.

4. Click the Background job button to see the job running status.

5. After job finished then come back and click on REFRESH button.

6. Then in the manage screen you should be able to see the avalable for reporting.

Hi

Plz check the logs of DSO activation and post the error message. Also you can check the settings of the dso in the Tcode RSODSO_SETTINGS if your activation fails because of data packet size.

If possible reduce the activation data packet size in RSODSO_SETTINGS and activate the DSO again.

Can you please prvode the error message detail what you got in the Activation.

It might be with junk chars also. PLease check the error log.

Hi ,

check in the adminstratative data target of the ODS wether any requerst is still in yellow .. if all are green then repeat your ODS again .. it will get successful

or if you want you can actiavte the request manually also but do check the box for do not condense the reuest in one ..
