I have a problem with my CR XI here. A software development company which we are working together uses CR 10 (I don't know the exact Version but they say they use the latest Service pack) and changes some reports for us. Know I can't open these report files with my CR XI.
If I doubleclick on the files I get get a corrupt message for these files
(Transleted from German: "Could not open file, seems to be not a Crystal Reports document. The file has a .rpt ending but seems to be corrupt. Please open this file with another version of CR. Please contact your administrator")
I can open these files with a report viewer we are using here or with the CR 10 version of the software development company, but I cant edit these files with CR XI.
I have installed the latest Service Pack for CR XI (SP4) and the Version number is: 10.0.0.2495
Before installing the latest SP it doesn't worked though.

Has anyone an idea to solve this problem? We installed XI on a second computer but the same problem.
what we do now is testing these reports on a independed installation of XI...
