How to capture pallet weight in Delivery?

Hi,

We want to capture the weight of pallets in deliveries WITHOUT utilizing HUM/Packing functionalities in SAP...have anyone worked with solutions like this?

Basically what we want is that the gross weight of a shipping is printed on the Bill of lading, but we dont have the number of pallets known when we create the sales order and/or delivery.

If you have worked with any solutions where you had to calculate weights of pallets without using HUM, please describe your scenario and solution.

Hi Ola,

Even if you don't want to work with packing, you can manually insert pallets in the delivery (as a new item) and therefore the own gross weight of the pallets will be taken in account in the general overall weight of the delivery computed by the system.

IMHO this is standard functionality.
