web service - How activate host ?

Hello expert,

what is the role of the server host ? How is possible to set it ?

Other, I used the wscondif transaction and i putted the name of service created and the smae name for the variant, but the following message is showed:

méthode IF_SRT_REGISTRY_ENTRY~CREATE_NEW a faild : classe inexistante !!

Any idea ?

Hello Lei,

try it:

this answer is by Rich Heilmann

Make sure the webdynpro node in the ICF is active.

Run transaction SICF, then click execute.

From the tree below, open default_host, sap, bc, webdynpro, sap. Activate the APPL_SOAP_MANAGEMENT node, by right-clicking on it, and choosing "Activate Service".
