one particular line item is not affected by substitution rule-BA

Hi Experts,

In MIRO we have maintained substitution for business place and section code.

Now the vendor line item, GR/IR clearing line items are getting filled with constatnt substitution values.

But the third line item with posting key 40, line item ind -tax"T",auto created is not getting filled with substitution values Business Area.

Please suggest why? and how to get rid of it...

Hi,

Which SAP version you are working on??

As per my opinion, substitution only populated fields with values in line item during document entry.

In ECC 6.0, the document splitting functionality ensures the Business area entry in automatically generated line items.

Please check & revert.

for further inputs I had activeted trace and checked that the substitution is true but still after saving the field bseg-gsber is not getting updated.
