Disable the password change prompt from SAP GUI

Hi,

I have a requirement to set the Password for any SAP user ID thru a Front end which will be done by the user himself. But after the user logs in thru SAP GUI , SAP should not prompt to reset the password.

Kindly help me on this.

Check following parameters:

Initial Password: Limited Validity

login/password_max_new_valid

Defines the validity period of passwords for newly created users.

Available as of SAP Web AS 6.10, as of SAP Basis 4.6 by Support Package

login/password_max_reset_valid

Defines the validity period of reset passwords.

Available as of SAP Web AS 6.10, as of SAP Basis 4.6 by Support Package

This can be done by updating the system time in USR02 after the password reset.

set user as service user type then it doesnt ask for change for password

I don't understand your requirement.. can you rephrase that and describe your scenario in detail?
