Hi,
Can anyone explain me the process of hiding the view container UI element.
Thanks,
Ravi
Hi,
Bind the visible property of the ViewContainer UI Element with the attribute of type WDUI_VISIBILITY.
Suppose the attribute name is VIEW_HIDE.
Then type the following code in WDDOINIT.
DATA lo_el_context TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_element.
DATA ls_context TYPE wd_this->element_context.
DATA lv_view_hide TYPE wd_this->element_context-view_hide.
get element via lead selection
lo_el_context = wd_context->get_element( ).
@TODO handle not set lead selection
IF lo_el_context IS INITIAL.
ENDIF.
@TODO fill attribute
lv_view_hide = 1.
set single attribute
lo_el_context->set_attribute(
name = `VIEW_HIDE`
value = ' ' ).
It will hide the ViewContainer UI element.

Hi
just bind the visible property of the ViewContainer UI element with the attribute of type wdui_visibility.
and set it value as '0' or ' ' to make it invisible.

create a node VISIBLE with attribute ACTIVE of type Boolean
then bind the visible property with the attribute
and depending on your condition set this attribute value as follows
first read the context node VISIBLE , then set the attribute value to SPACE.
lo_el_visible->set_attribute(
name = 'ACTIVE'
value = ' ' ).
Thanks,
Shaik.
