quarterly results in query

hi gurus

i am preparing a report on the revenues. now i am getting the revenue for the entire year. i want to get the quarterly results.

i mean i want the results to be displayed in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and fourth quarter.

what are the steps i need to get the results in this way

you can restrict the 0calmonth field or the 0fiscper field using standard variables for quarters...

sorry murali to say that i have only one. actually i have 0calyear and posting period in the time chars.

i tried working with the posting period but cannot get the results as desired.

Vijaykumar,

the question you will need to answer is how to separate or identify the individual months in the ODS. Even if it is a customer exit , or a filter , if you have only 0calyear.... what are the pther key fields in your ODS which are time based. One I assume is posting period. Do you have any other Chars ?

The page is for something to do with cost controlling or something but I guess the logic indicated should work.

Posting period seems very similar to month...

Have four selections for revenue,

each one have the revenue as KF ans restrict the values of posting period in the KF by the values given in the link above , that should get you your report.
