Integration in CRM 2007

Hi all,

I would like to know some information regarding integration SAP CRM 2007 with SAP ECC 6.

I would like to which one is the best possible option to integrate about two components,

1. Can i use SAP CRM 2007 middleware

2. Shall i user SAP PI here.

I am PI consultant. So have no idea on what this SAP CRM 2007 middleware can provide for the integration. So could any one please help me in getting the information about it.

May be you could let me know your previous experience with similar case? Or please provide me any link to SAP CRM 2007 middleware functionality.

Hi Prasad,

CRM middleware is an integral part of CRM server.

It provides seamless integration to the backend, groupware and mobile clients.

You don't need additional software or installation.

Using middleware, you can exchange Masterdata (Business partners, Products...) and trasactional data (sales,service documents, etc) using BDocs.

I've never been involved in a project where functionality provided by CRM middleware is not enough to exchage data with ECC.

May be you can explain if you have any specific requirement that you think middleware can't handle and PI is required?
