News Example Part II

I am still stuck with the concept of XML forms to iview/display/layout, so pardon that question:

When I assign the News Editor iview, on the layout on the very top it says:

"New Sponsored Link / New Demo News / New Frequently Asked question."

Where is this layout line defined? I would like to get rid of that line.

Is there a good documentation about it or what SAP class will teach this kind of topics?

Hi Holger,

you can go to KM Configuration -> User Interface -> Commands -> UI Command Groups

and create a new "EmptyCommandGroup" with no commands in the Command List.

What you need to do to get rid of the links for new xml documents, you would have to go to KM Configuration -> Content Management -> User Interface -> Settings -> Layout Set -> NewsExplorer -> NewsCollectionRenderer

Replace the Collection Command Group "CreateXMLFormsGroup" with your new "EmpytCommandGroup".

The above asumes that you use the "NewsExplorer" LayoutSet in you KM Navigation iView.

Hope this helps,

Robert
