ABUMN issue

Hi experts,

While i use T code ABUMN,and try to post it,then following error comes:

Posting complete retirement not poss.with value date 05.09.2008

Message no. AA318

Diagnosis

Transactions have been posted to asset 70009 0 with an asset value date or posting date later than the retirement date 05.09.2008.

System response

Complete retirement with subsequent transactions is not possible.

Procedure

You have the following options:

Change the asset value date or posting date.

Post only a partial retirement.

Reverse the subsequent transactions.

Please advise.

I get this error:

I have an asset that has values in the year 2012, but I reversed all of them. It´s necessary to transfer the asset to a new asset with ABUMN dated 31.11.2012. How can I solve this?

you'll find the answer as soon as you click on the "find" button in SAPGUI. It looks like a pair of binoculars. The online help would also be a good resource.

Hi Samar,

what is there to advise? All necessary information is available in the long text. You posted already a transaction after 05.09.2008, you can not post a (full) retirment before this date. Choose a value date after the last transaction existing on the asset.
