Porfit Center Accounting document is not generating during MIGO

Hi,

We are in ECC6 and we activated the Document splitting and we configured and activates the profit center accoutning with number ranges for actual documents but whenever we are doing the MIGO and MIRO there is no controlling and profit center document is generating and only accounting document is generating .

What is the reason for this can we cannot get these docuements from MM ?

Hi,

Please check these points in sequence.

1)Check document splitting is active for Profit center or not.

2)Check the material master is having Profit center.

3)Check OKB9 is mapped to profit centers where ever required.

4)Check 3KEH which is through a BADI in ECC6.0 whether the balance sheet accounts are mapped or not.

5)Check cost centers are having profit centers

6) Check the field status for GL accounts where ever applicable for Profit centers are made mandatory.

7) Check the postings from SD also as data should flow from SD to Profit centers and Gl accounts

This is a comprehensive list.

Hi,

Classic PCA and Controlling document is posted only in case of cost elements.

In case of MIGO, no cost element is read. Its only Inventory and GR/IR

In case of MIRO, cost element would be read only incase of price difference accounts.

In your case, please check whether price difference was posted for MIRO. If so, whether the price difference account has been created as a cost element.

As regards posting of the transaction to profit centers, it would be based on the document splitting rules in New GL.
