Reg:Error during import; use "/$SYNC" to reset buffer

Hi Experts,

In our BI prd server, when run T-codes like RSMO,RSPC...am getting an error message saying that"Error during import; use "/$SYNC" to reset buffer"

Most of the jobs related to the loads failed with the same error in SM37

Kindly help me understand and resolve the issue.

Thanks in advance

Rgds-

Hi Venu,

/$sync should be used from tcode bar which will reset the buffer and sychronises the changes happened from all the instances. This is not required if you maintain the following parameter in your default profile

rdisp/bufrefmode = sendon,exeauto

Hi Venu,

This issue can come when you import some support packages and you will then have to reset the ST02 buffers

I would suggest you to restart SAP once so that buffers get reset

If it doesnt help, the you will have to use /$SYNC command from OS level to reset the buffers

This should resolve your issue and you should be able to run the T-codes
