Hi!

Generally the gaps will identified in two ways:

1. Gaps as per country specific ( legal/statutory laws)

2. Individual company requirement

Gaps will be in:

1. Master data maintenance ( based on country some fields must be filled)

2. Tax laws

3. Business process

it is very difficult to give entire gaps details. based on these things you can develops gaps list.

Hi,

Generally business process are identified based on -

1. Legal requirements

2. MIS Reports

3. Business Process

LEgal requirements are staututory and hence should check if it could be implemented with SAP. If not, custom objects should be developed.

MIS reports are non-mandatory reports required by the management/end users for day-to-day operation. Check whether standard SAP reports are available; esle they are to be custom developed and should be part of FS.

There might be unique business scenarios that are not possible thru SAP. They are again identified as gaps and the entire process has to be custom developed. These reports has to be very carefully coded and testd, as it impacts the entire business of the organization.
