FTXP tcode should be made in change mode .

Hi All,

We have Quality in NON MODIFIABLE status,when we are running the tcode FTXP its saying "Client has non modifiable status" but in production enviornment FTXP tcode is running without any issue and in SCC4 client is showing as non modifiable.

What could be the reason behind this??

we want to do the activity in quality without making the QA client as Modifiable.

Hi Madhu

Change the client role of qa and make it same as that of PROD

i.e go to SCC4 in Production system and check the role of client in SCC4

and then maintain the same role in qa system through SCC4

It should be ok

Due to the role of the system, certain functions can be manipulated or

not.

For example, you can edit all kind of functions in DEV and QAS, which

you cannot edit in a PRD environment.

This is because of the role of the system, and cannot be manipulated by

SE06 or SCC4.

PRD, QAS or DEV is the role of the system.

thanks it' got resolved

as you mentioned i changed Role as Production .

But if Business want same role in QAS system as TEST what would be the solution.

I dont think there is no solution as such,if you want to use it permanently you will have to set it up like this only but if you want to use it sometimes its better you revert the client settings back to what the setting was and then change whenever you want to

in qa system execute transaction SE06 and change the global settings in system to modifiable

It will be ok
