Hi ,
I am trying to Assign Credit control area to Customer master , in Customer master( sales area TAB/ Billing documents tab,) i am not finding the field credit control area to assign what may be the reason

Goto OB20 and then choose create customer (sales) and make necessary settings in Sales Tab/ Billing.

here select the change customer centrally and then double click on sales data and then on billing now

Hi,
01. Go to T.Code OVT0 and select your account group.Select the Sales area data and double click the tab ,select the billing tab. See the selection of Credit Controlling area field is suppresed . If so please change it to optional ans save it.
02.Go to Enterprice Structure and check for the sales area assigement to credit control area.
Hope this will solve your problem.

I think this field is suppresed and you nedd to make it optional.
Path Img --> Financial Accounting --> A/cs Receivables and A/cc Payable --> Customer Accounts --> Master Data --> Preperatons for creating customer master data --> Define Account Groups with screen layouts (customers)
Choose Account group of your customer
Click details screen
Double click "Sales Data"
Double click " Billing "
wherein "Hedging and Creit contr. area = Optional Entry
Mainatain this then the field will appear in customer master

now double click on biling field
Hedging and credit contr. area make this field as optional i think it was in suppress mode

Thanks for the response , i checked at OBD2 , the filed is not supresses , it is radio button is selected as optional, but still i am not finding the feild
