hi

after going into the transation, cv01n .....i want to selct my doc " select doc via" which i am unable to find

is there any setting to be made to get this select option

i need the option such that i can selct my doc via 1. selction screen 2. broswer, 3. selction scree or browser

Hello,

First you define document type is SPRO settings.

Go to Cross application component- Document management control data-- define document type.

Here you can define document type & also settings related to document type like numbering system, version assignment, revision assigment, classification if any.

Once this is saved, you will be able to view this document type in cv01n transaction in F4 help, if you are using web DMS then this document type will be available in dropdown list.

my question is in cv01n transation, on the top we have an option of " select document Via....."

now i am unable to see this option, how to get that option ..........

Hello,

There is no setting to get this icon of 'Select document via' on screen of cv01n transaction.

This feature is available in SAP ECC6.0 version.

Using this feature you can access document folders prepared in easy DMS.

Let me know if you need more clarification.

You will able to unable these option by going to SPRO in

Document Management > Control Data > Activate Document Broweser and ACLS
