Can Sales return can be possible without order reference or not .Please give me the customization process for this.

Hi Siku

A sales return document type is also possible , if you keep the Reference document feild blank for Returns Document type in VOV8.

But it is not advisable not to create a Returns document type wrf to the document type

But why you dont want have reference document for Returns document type any reason ?

you can create return sales order with out reference also but there is no meaning !!

becauese if you create Returns sales order with ref to Order or Billing there is track to find out.

Go to VOV8 document type RE - there you can get Referecnce manadatory field if you remove this indicator system will not ask you for reference at the time of creating return sales order.
