Equipment master data

Hi All,

Client requirement is to have Warranty tab page in IE01--Create Equipment Master Data.How can we do it.

Hi,

The best way is to check an equipment category where the warranty tab is active (for example M or S in the standard system).

In customizing of equipment category in PM/SM, check the object info parameter (field V_T370T-INFOW) for both equipment category (the one that does not have the warranty tab and the one that does).

Then go to Set Profiles for Technical Objects (Technical Objects -> General Data), and for screen group H2 (Equipment Data) and Object Profile from the Equipment category, change layout and add a new tab.

It's funny, because I remember having done that in a previous version (maybe 4.7) and in my memory it was much simpler.
