Problem in SAP Start

Dear All,

We have the following setup

O/S : HP-UX 11.31, ServiceGuard with SgeSAP

SAP ECC 6 on Oracle 10g

SAP installed with High Availability option.

There are 2 nodes.

When we start SAP manualy on 2nd node it gives following error.

Previously it was working fine.

rlsapp:prdadm 8> startsap

Checking PRD Database

ABAP Database is running

Starting SAP-Collector Daemon

-


Start of saposcol failed

touch: /usr/sap/PRD/D03/work/dev_tp cannot create

Starting SAP Instance D03

-


Startup-Log is written to /home/prdadm/startsap_D03.log

Instance Service on host rlsapp started

Startup of Instance failed

See /home/prdadm/startsap_D03.log for details

It seems that the directory /usr/sap/<SID> is not mounted on the node.

Thanks for your reply.

/usr/sap/PRD is mounted. but /usr/sap/PRD/work i.e. work directory is not there.

And I have not made any changes in filesystem.

Is that subdirectory in a separate resource group?

I suggest you open a call (BC-OP-HPX) and let the support have a look on the system.
