Hello,
I have a question on the following situation.
Batches are stored on stock and have a shelf life expiration date (SLED)
These batches are then used as component for the next production phase.
In many times the batches are only partially used and then put back to stock, which influences the SLED negatively depending on the material type. (Like packed meat, once opened it will be gone earlier then unopened)
For these batches a 'partial wafer indicator' is set.
Question is if SAP can be set up that it can handle the situation described above, so a re-calculation of SLED once a batch is put back to stock after partially use.
Hello,
I think this should be possible ..........
first option using dependency knowledge:
setup bacth classification for the products / bathces
create a characteristic and assign it to mcha-vfdat / mch1-vfdat like lobm-vfdat but leave it open for input
setup dependency knowledege for changing your charcateristic (and automatically sled) as you like
setup the movment type for putting the batch back to stock to automatic classification what causes
the dependency knowledge being executed each time
second option using a user exit:
use the user exit within material movement for changing sled as desired whenever there is a movement
type for putting a batch back to stock
third option using a report:
create a report for regular update of sled
Regards.
Hubert
