error in report

hi everybody

my ps scenario is running good but i have an issue regarding the display report in project planning board

first of all i will explain my ps scenario

am involved in a service project which contains for example two level of wbse and say i have two wbse in the second level and each wbs in the second level the cost is showing at the int activity level which is fair enough.

and two milestones are added to each 2nd level wbs element respectively(milestone assigned to the wbs element respectively). following is the display in project planning board before adding milestone in the sales order as follows

project plan cost

pro def 80000

wbs1 80000

wbs2 45000

activity1 25000

activity2 20000

wbs2 35000

activity1 25000

activity2 10000

now after saving the sale order with milestone and say the total bill is say 100000 then in the project planning board the following display i see which is shown as follows

project plan cost

pro def 20000-

wbs1 20000-

wbs2 45000

activity1 25000

activity2 20000

wbs2 35000

activity1 25000

activity2 10000

the project planning cost of project def and wbs1 level changes to 20000- i dont know y? but according to logic it should still so 80000 as we planned

now after i billed the first milestone bill say the bill is of 50000 then the following thing happens in the actual cost column shown as follows

project plan cost actual cost

pro def 20000- 50000-

wbs1 20000- 50000-

wbs2 45000

activity1 25000

activity2 20000

wbs2 35000

activity1 25000

activity2 10000

now when i add actual cost in the internal activity through cats the following display comes in the project planning board shown as follows

project plan cost actual cost

pro def 20000- 48000-

wbs1 20000- 48000-

wbs2 45000 2000

activity1 25000 1000

activity2 20000 1000

wbs2 35000

activity1 25000

activity2 10000

but in the actual cost level it must show 2000 which is not showing and even after i generate revenue the actual revenue is also not showing in the revenue column

am new in project system so can any body help me how can i repair my development server and even i referred the ides to check what setting i missed. but still it didn't help me so am really looking forward for your help if i missed any setting. looking forward for ur help

thanx for ur response but Frankly speaking i need to know one thing like in the project planing board u have seen that before entering the milestone the project planning cost was okay (80000) but when enter the milestone in the sales order the figure in the project planning board changes to 20000- as the total bill is 100000. some where its getting calculated automatically which i don't want. so mu issue is i need the plan project cost to show 80000 not 20000-.

i guess some setting is there which i missed. looking forward for ur reply

Samething happend to my friend....revenues got added up to the cost...and the concern person ran CJEN and the problem got solved...so first try it.

CJEN is nothing but resconstructing your project info database....running CJEN will refresh the data in database...run cjen, enter the project name, deselect test run, and other indicators are as per your requirement...like if u want see detail list, deleted list..etc.,
