actually in our company there is an a/c called INV. OF WIP A/C.
My question is wether INV. OF WIP A/C can be called as CHANGE IN FG INV. A/C

When the Work in Progress is calculated the following entries will be posted:
Work in Progress A/c - Dr
Change WIP A/c - Cr
in your case , you can use INV.of WIP a/c means work in progress a/c which is a balance sheet account.
