Not able to logon to universe designer

Hi All,

I have installed the trial version of BO edge,crystal reports,xcelsius and BO-SAP integration kit.

When i try to logon to universe desiner its saying "you are not authorized user".

but when i try to logon to enterprise i am able to do so.

any thoughts..

Hi,

It seems that you tried to start Designer, but donu2019t have the authorization the way around for this is a supervisor can change your user profile to designer (or supervisor designer).

Are you able to clarify what do you mean by enterprise?

Did you try the administrators credential which you were asked to provide at the time of installation?

Please also tell us the specific message you get when you try to access the designer.

Hi,

I am the admin and user.I have installed the trail version.

i can start designer and able to logon with enterprise option.

but with sap option it says not authorized.

i have followed Ingo Hilgefort's blogs for intallation.and now i want to create a universe i am getting that mesage.

you can login to the infoview or not?

check your licenses in the CMC

Hi I am not able to logon to Inforview with SAP credntials.

When i create universe ,if I select single sign on from drop down box,not showing any cubes under OLAP cubes.But if i select username and pasword form dropdown box,I am ale to see all the cubes under OLAP cubes.

I am not providing admin details of sap while creating a new connection.

Help appriciated.

SAP Integration KIT has to be installed at SERVER side for BOE and client side for client components

I am connecting to SAP through internet.I have installed the sap integration kit on my laptop.

I have not installed on SAP server.do i have to install on sap server too.
