Error in ALRTCATDEF : Internal error in configuration

Hi,

I have done all alert configurations on development server. Everything is working fine on Dev server.

Now I transported my Alert category to Production server. While transporting everywhere it was succesful ( return code 0). Also my alertcategory has come, as I can see through the RWB on Prod server.

But after transport I am not able to run tcode ALRTCATDEF. It says "Internal error in configuration".

Please let me know your thoughts on this.

I am setting RFC destination for Central Alert Server in TBS. I am not sure what RFC destination I should select for this system. Can someone please give a hint?

Solved the issue.

Not sure if this can be called a bug. But this wht happened.

While creating category RFC destinations were also created on dev server. Now when I transported the settings went but the RFC destination was not there on Prod server. So mannually created the RFC destinations PMI<SID><Client> and changed it on Prod server thru SALRT1 tcode.

Actually this particular setting shud not have got transported rt?????
