RFC - CRM to ECC6

RFC connections have been created using SM59.

I can connect from ECC6 to CRM, but NOT from CRM to ECC6. It fails.

I can ping both ways.

Services files on both servers contain sapgw00 3300/tcp.

Environment variables on both set.

Host files on both servers contain both entries.

ERROR: partner 'saperp:sapgw00' not reached.

Check any firewall rules or any other software like antivirus are not blocking the access

Check the Gateway logs in transaction SMGW for both systems. Is the ECC box a different system number than the CRM system? If so, check your services file to see if the sapgwXX service needs to be updated.

Hi, my service for both are sapgw00. They are both running. Yet I get a timeout during GwIAsyncConn - Connection timed out. [partner 'saperp.sapgw--' not reached.

Please check sapgateway service of CRM, It should connect to to ECC6.0 gateway are not.

Using smgw I can see a connection on the GW Monitor. But how to check the actual CRM GW Service I dont know? Please help.
