Country Romania has 6 character postal code but SRM is asking for 7, so the Vendor replication from ECC to SRM fails.
Can anyone help?

Hi Chandu
In SRM SPRO -SAP WEb Application server->General settings ->set countries->Set country-specifi checks RO - Display
you can make it 6 in srm. then it will be fine for testing purpose you can do it. so it make sense and srm and r/3 has sync.
postal code length might be 7 check it up. same check in r/3 what is the settings.
SAP Note 1247735 - Romanian Postal Codes Length - ECC 6.0

Solution
The Romanian length check is not based on legal, such setting is happening
in practice.
The postal codes can be checked based on the address at postal offices
or on the internet at :www.posta-romana.ro
The postal code with 6 digits for Romania is valid from 2003 year ,
and there isn't any change until now.
Recommendation:
First of all we have specified in the country manual attached at
country note number 537272 in page 11 some settings for Romania and
customer can use these templates in order to customize in the system
correctly settings for Romania.(e.g. postal code 6, vat number : 12)
For Romania there isn't special law for this, only new codes issued in
2003 year where there are postal codes with 6 numerical digits.
The correct setting for the postal code length is being delivered with the
BC Set /CEECV/ROFI_ACCOUNTS.
This BC Set is being stored with the attachements on the note 537272
(CEECV_ROFI_RO01_46C_470_500_600.zip).
Important:
Please note you should activate the BC Set only in case there are no
transactional data within the client you are trying to perform the setting.
In case you already have the transactional data with the client for the
setup, please change the setting for the postal code length manually via
transaction "OY17" - country key "RO".
