Change of Cost Ctr in Personnel Number

Hi All,

I need to change the cost center and company code for a Personnel Number.

Situation is like this:

1. One client having two company codes. One employee got transfered from one Company code to other.

2. One company code having many Cost Center. One employee got transfered to one department to other and as a result his cost center need to be changed.

Define the other company code and cost centre in infotype 27.

Use Alternative cost assignment in PR05 and specify the cost centre.

Hello,

If your cost center is in infotype 0001, you have to do the reorganization assignment which you need to start in transaction PA40.

Another alternative is to check in infotype 0017 the "change company code" allowed and use the Alternative Cost Assignment button when creating a trip.

For a temporary change, I would suggest the second option.

In Tcode PA30, the Company Code and Cost Center Fields are grayed out. I am not able to change then. Please suggest how to change the same.

Hi,

You can change the costcenter for the position which the person is holding.
