Files on the KPRO Server

Former Member

Hi All,

We have just migrated originals from 1 kpro server to another. This went well, except that with some document, when i double click on the attachment, i get a message that says "the file cannot be created". I am not sure what is the reason why i am not able to access the files.

Is there a way that i can check which files are on the KPRO server?

Thank you in Advance,

Danny

Hi Danny,

I am attaching this report program (ZZ_DMS_KPRO_CHECK_FILES) with this thread which might be useful for checking your documents. The attached report checks the KPRO-tables and rebuilds these entries again. Please run the report in TEST mode and check the results. Please do not run this report in vital systems. As this is not an official released SAP Standard report, we are not responsible for any data loss or any other impacts of this. However I used this report several times for checking the correctness of the attached originals.

Best regards,

Christoph

Hi,

There is no standard report to check the files on kpro server.

But you can refer to T-code SKPR07, where you will get total number of document info records & if files are attached to them then file name, its size & MIME type is also seen.

Hi Jagruti

Thank you for a speedy response. I am fairly new with tx Jagruti. I see 1 can do a lot with the tx. How would i go about, executing the tx so that i get the dir list and their attachements.

Kind regards,

D
