Yes. Why not, I dont think there is any other way to change the password of SAPCPIC user. But i want to know why you have asked this question?

This is a communication user and you have to checked where are you using this user in your system, if you changed the password your communication will be failed until unless you should not change your password.

Hi.

Due to a security audit, I'm requested to lock or change the password of SAPCPIC user (as the password is the initial right now)

I'm checking but I don't find any proccess or refference to the user so I guess I can reset the pwd... Do you know about any specific proccess or RFC I should check before doing it?

Best approach would be locking it and check if some proccess fails..
