Hello All,
I always apply support pack , but i am not able to judge how much time it will take to apply the support pack.I know it has something to do with the size of individual patches . Is there anywhere SAP has given how to calculate the approx. time it will take for applying the support pack.
Ofcourse , it does depend on the resource availibility. But is there any benchmark from where we can atleast calculate some thing excluding the error we face while applying.
Thanks in Advance
Anthony
Usually you use the times that you get while patching your DEV system to stimate the downtime for PRD.
Theres too many variables that can affect the time that takes to patch a system

No Anthony there is no bench mark like this, you can't decide how much time a support pack will take
Generally SAP_BASIS and SAP_ABAP support packs take a longer time as compared to other components and plugins take a very less time but still you can't say how much time a support pack and I dont think there is any benchmark that has been set by SAP
