Multi-lingual fields in Item Details iView

Hi experts!

Can any of you describe how can we enable editing of multi-lingual fields (editing all languages, not just the language logged in) in the Item Details iView?

Do we need a separate Item Detail iView for each language? If so, how do we make sure updates for all languages for a specific record are submitted from Portal to MDM?

We are currently on MDM 5.5 SP06.

Hi Kenneth,

usually the user see only data in his log-on language. In order to display/edit several languages, you may need to create several item detail iviews and connect them via eventing.

I'm closing this thread as we opted to create custom iViews using Java APIs for the same.
