Hi Gurus

While maintaining the ztable through SM30 got the following error.

Maintenance dialog for ztable is incomplete or not defined

I have to add new enteries in the previously created ztable.

Please suggest

Hi Manvir,'

All DB tables do not automatically have a table maintenance created.

The message indicates no table maintenance exists for the Z table.

From SE11 you need to create the table maintenance using the Table MAintenance Generator.

Go to SE11, give the table name and click on change. Then Go to utilities--> Table

maintenance generator.

In the table maintenance generator screen, we should give Authorization Group,

Function Group name (Function Group name can be same as table name),

Maintenance type can be one step or two step, usually we will create with one

step. we should give maintenance screen number. After clicking on create button,

a table maintenance generator will be created.

To check it go to SM30 . In SM30, we find display, Maintain options.

We can view the table contents by choosing Display and we can create table

entries by choosing Maintain.

Further can suggest how to find/define maintenance screen number & what should be the authorization group for ztable for billing numrange.

Hi,

You can choose the option of SAP to propose the screen number.

If you select as single screen; then there will be just one maintainance screen and if you select as multiple screen, then there will be 2 screens.

For authorisation group you can give no authorisation group incase you do not know the authorisation group.

Please delete the TMG and re-generate the TMG, Activate the Function Group in SE80.

Go to SE14 and adjust and activate the table.
