migration of MAM3.0 syncbo's to MI7.1 data objects

Hi all,

I'm currently trying to migrate MAM3.0 syncbo's to MI7.1 data objects using the migration guide available on the web.

I've noticed however that after succesfully applying the migration tool for the syncbo's, server driven syncbo's(like functional locations, equipments), get a backend adapter of type DOE triggered (not backend triggered). Is this normal? Or have i done something wrong? Why is this done like that? Is the reason maybe because there is nothing foreseen to migrate backend functionality to work with the new concepts of MI7.1 and this has to be performed manually?

thanks

Peter

Hi Peter,

This behaviour is normal during migration. All the adapters are created as 'DOE triggered' by default. On need basis, the developer can change this to 'Backend Triggered' by specifying a backend business object in the backend adapter manually.
