Maintenance Order Release based on cost

Dear Experts,

Mt requirement is like this When The Maintenance Order Planned Cost crosses 50000 Rs , This Order Should Be released by Maintenance Head , Below 50000 Rs Planned Cost respective Area Engineers Should be able to release,

& for Maintenance Order Cost > 50000 Rs It should not be possible for Goods issue unless maintenance head approves it. Can this be done

You can do this two ways:

- Via the Permit system

- Via user-exit IWO10002: Customer check for order release

Hi,

Define permits for cost approval thr IPMD.Then classify them and include characteristic as cost with required value.Class to be PERMIT(class type 49).Permit category to be 2(work approval).It should be mandatory for order release.

Characteristic for planned cost to be created and included in PERMIT class.For characteristic master data on additional data tab maintain table name=CSEVPERMIT and field name=PKOSTEN.

PKOSTEN is plannned cost in order and nased on this value permit will get assigned to order.Order will be released only after permit is issued.Now here you can use authorisation concept or workflow.

How Do I Control Goods Issue of Spare Part Until Maintenance Head Approves , After Saving without release We can Get reservation number Based on that we Can get Spare Part , How to Control this.

Hi,

Reservation gets generated for components as soon as you create order.But note here order is not released as it is waiting for approval.Reservations are not active unless order is released(movements are blocked) and you can't issue goods against these reservation nos if order is not released.This is standard SAP.

So getting reservation no does not mean you can issue material but to issue order need to be released.
