system not starting up

HI all,

We have a abap+java stack netweaver 2004s system.When i trying to start the instance from SAP MMC it is saying that dispatcher stopped not connected to the message server. I have below pasted the developer trace file .

possible network problems detected - check tracefile and adjust the DNS settings

Looks like you have some network connectivity problem. Check your network connectivity. If it is loopback adapter check the settings.

Hi,

When did system stopped working? have you applied any new OS or SAP Patch?. Check all the oracle and SAP services are active. Restart the SAP and test.

What is the error in Syslog inside MMC?

Have you read the dev_w0 log file? if not, could you paste here only the error rows?

HI all,

Issue got resolved by rebooting the server .I wanted to know whether issue could have been resolved without restarting the server .

Hi

If it is Unix execute command cleanipc -remove to cleanup IPC objects

Check your all oracle services and lsnrctl is running
